The Ferrari Club of America
Supports McPhearson College
The Ferrari Club of America is proud to provide broad-based support to McPherson College https://www.mcpherson.edu/autorestoration/ in McPherson, Kansas, which stands alone as the only school to provide a bachelor’s degree in Restoration Technology. Their program provides students with many advantages in the collector car industry by creating internships with national museums and restoration shops, in-depth learning and dedicated instructors. Its advisory Board is a Who’s Who in the Collector Car industry and its graduates are making a tremendous impact in their chosen field.
The club supports McPherson College through the following initiatives:
1. TUITION SUPPORT. Club members can add an optional amount of their choosing to their annual dues payments by clicking HERE. The FCA will annually send 100% of collected funds each January to support a scholarship. The club is a 501-c-7 social and recreational organization, not a 501-c-3 charitable organization; club members who choose to add a scholarship contribution to dues payments cannot receive a donation receipt for tax records.
2. National, Region and/or Chapter EVENTS to raise funds for tuition or participation for hands on training and building connections.
3. DONATIONS of metric tools and foreign cars or engines to work on at their campus
4. CONNECTIONS to future employment opportunities.
5. Securing 2019 apprentice-like INTERNSHIPS that provide hands-on immersion on real-world restoration, preservation or collector-car related endeavors in full time positions.
How can you help? If you have any connections with collector car industry facilities, please let us know so we can facilitate an introduction to the College representative, Amanda Gutierrez. Students are looking to apply their skills and learn in a real-world setting. We all know companies that can provide a quality learning experience for these dedicated, passionate, and skilled people that McPherson College develops. Students are looking for experience with all types of cars but there is particular interest and need in European and exotic cars that our member base owns. All we need to do is make the connection!

Our mission is an ambitious one: to be the center of excellence for students serious about automotive restoration. Our vision is bold: to compete to win at Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance with a car restored in our program.
